WHAT I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT?

Rugby has been my life for as long as I can remember. From the moment I first stepped onto the field at age 7, the game has been in my blood, and it’s something that runs through my entire family. Everyone in my family plays, or has played, and it's a tradition that means the world to me. Every year, when September rolls around, the excitement kicks in—rugby season is here once again. I’ve been playing regularly twice a week with matches on the weekend, and over the years, I’ve formed lifelong friendships. It’s great being able to share these experiences with such a great group of people. We’ve seen each other grow, on and off the field, and that connection makes the sport even more special. But, of course, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. in Winter rugby becomes freezing cold, the muddy pitches, and the rain that seems to always fall just as we’re about to start. I’ve always worked hard to improve my skills. My goal is to one day play for Connacht, and one day ireland.

  Hi my name is Sophie, today I'm going to talk to you about my passion. I'm most passionate about cooking and baking. I'm passionate about this because I find cooking relaxing and fun.   My interests started from a young age when I would help out my mum in the kitchen when she was cooking or baking. I participate in this passion of mine by doing home economics in school and cooking and baking stuff at home.  The only thing I don't like about this passion of mine is cleaning up after I cook or bake something as sometimes it can get messy and take a long time to clean up.  This passion of mine in the future will probably look the same, cooking and baking at home as I don't plan on getting a job in the future to do with it as I prefer to cook and bake at home in peace and quiet.

My passion for farming comes from a deep connection to nature. There's something really special about working with animals, and the land, and seeing the direct results of my hard work. I love how farming allows me to be hands-on, whether I'm lambing ewes or taking care of animals. It also gives me a sense of independence and responsibility that I don't get from other activities.
